As the Head of Engineering, you'll lead the development of a cutting-edge payments platform enabling global merchants to scale their businesses across Africa. This role involves solving complex payment challenges, building scalable solutions, and driving economic growth through technology in Africa's digital economy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a scalable payments platform for global merchants
• Design and execute technical strategies to navigate Africa's payment infrastructure
• Develop cross-border solutions for seamless multi-currency transactions
• Partner with sales and product teams to create merchant-centric solutions
• Ensure compliance with diverse regulatory requirements across African markets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 8 to 12 years of experience, including team management and platform development
• Expertise in building high-volume, low-latency systems, especially in payment platforms
• Experience with React, Nextjs, C#, Terraform, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and related tools
